Louise says "hi"

Louise said her first word! OK, maybe it's a stretch, but it's still really cute.

Here are a couple recent videos...she's 8 months now!

Trip to Blowing Rock - Jan 16-19

We went to Blowing Rock for MLK weekend with the Richardson side of the family. We had 16 people in one house and I think it was a success. We went skiing while we were there...a first for many of us. Cole really did outstanding. He had never skied before and by the end of the last day he was on the blacks! How many people can say that? I did not take that many pictures, but here's a couple.

Louise's first Christmas

I've fallen behind again...sorry. We had a great Christmas in Wilmington and Elizabeth City. On our way back to Atlanta we stopped in Grandfather Mountain and visited with Sammy/Jane, Lee/Amy, Elizabeth/John/Jack, and Grant/Kathleen. It was so good to see old friends. Here are some pictures from all of those visits.

Christmas visit with The Turners

We went by Robert and Kelly's to visit with them and their 2 girls, Walker and Cate. Here's a picture of Robert, Douglas, Louise, and Cate. Wow, they've come a long way since their days at the Phi Delt house...

Baptism - Dec 7

Louise was baptized at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church on December 7. We were very fortunate to have Mom/Steve, Monaca/Jerry/Cole/Tanner, Dad/Tina/Alex, Anna/Bruce, and Elizabeth/John. It meant so much to have all of you there! Here is a link to some pictures from the weekend. Some of them are blurry because we could not use a flash inside the Santuary.

On another note, Louise had her 6 month check up yesterday. Let's just say that we don't have to worry about her weight anymore. She's 17 lbs (75th percentile) and 28 inches (>95th percentile).

Thanksgiving

We had a nice visit in Elizabeth City over Thanksgiving. Here is a video from cousin Bess. Eliza also performed for us, but it was too big to post.
