Trip to Ponte Vedra

We went to Ponte Vedra with Anna and Zach this past weekend for Memorial Day and had a wonderful time. Louise had a big time! This was her first trip to the beach and included several mouthfuls of sand. You would think being at the beach for the first time would have been the main attraction, but it really turned out to be the floor to ceiling mirrors in the den of Anna's condo. Louise could not have been happier! You can see for yourself in the first video below. The second one is of her playing in the sand. And then click on the 3rd picture below to see all the pictures from the weekend.

Louise's first Easter

Louise had a wonderful first Easter. We went to an Easter egg hunt yesterday at church where she fiercely hunted for the eggs =) She also got to see the Easter Bunny! We then had church this morning followed by an eventful day watching the Masters. Here are pictures from the weekend.

9 month check up

Louise had her 9 month check up on Friday. She was 20 1/2 lbs (75th percentile) and 29 1/2 inches long (>95th percentile). She did not weigh quite as much as I thought, but is growing well according to the doctor. She did not have any shots...only a toe prick to test her iron, which was in the normal range.

We went to the park today. It was a beautiful day in Atlanta. She really enjoyed being there...so many people to watch. Here's a short video.

Visit from Gogga and Granddaddy

Anna and Bruce came to visit this past weekend. Who knew it was going to snow 3-4 inches? We had a nice time playing in the snow. Winnie loved it!

Louise says "hi"

Louise said her first word! OK, maybe it's a stretch, but it's still really cute.

Here are a couple recent videos...she's 8 months now!

Trip to Blowing Rock - Jan 16-19

We went to Blowing Rock for MLK weekend with the Richardson side of the family. We had 16 people in one house and I think it was a success. We went skiing while we were there...a first for many of us. Cole really did outstanding. He had never skied before and by the end of the last day he was on the blacks! How many people can say that? I did not take that many pictures, but here's a couple.
